Keppel Corp Q3 profit slips 15%

DIMMER earnings from its offshore and marine business led to a dip in third-quarter profit for Keppel Corp.

It announced today that net profit for the three months ended Sept 30 slumped 14.7 per cent to $346.4 million, down from $406.1 million a year ago.

Revenue grew 19.1 per cent to $3.22 billion, due to stellar contributions from its offshore and marine, as well as property divisions.

These numbers brought Keppel Corp's earnings to $1.62 billion for the nine months ended Sept 30, up 46.8 per cent from a year ago.
