Boustead unit wins major contract in Indonesia

Engineering services company Boustead Singapore announced on Tuesday that its unit Boustead Salcon Water Solutions, has won a major contract in Indonesia.
Boustead Salcon, a specialist in water and wastewater engineering for the energy sector, has been awarded a major multi-million dollar contract to design and supply water and wastewater treatment facilities at Indonesia's first ultra supercritical power plant.
The power plant will be the first in Indonesia to employ ultra supercritical technology and it is more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly compared to existing traditional coal-fired power plants.
It will supply electricity to Indonesia's national powercorporation, PLN, of 25 years.
