Ascott Reit reports near flat distribution of $25.6m to unitholders in Q3

Buy SPH photosASCOTT Residence Trust reported a near flat distribution of $25.6 million to unit holders in the third quarter.
Distribution per unit (DPU) for the three months to Sept 30 amounted to 2.24 cents, compared to 2.23 cents in the same period last year.
This takes its DPU for the first nine months to 6.76 cents, up from 6.7 cents previously.
The hospitality trust said its third-quarter revenue rose by 6 per cent to $77.4 million, mainly due to the contribution from the newly acquired Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo and Citadines Karasuma-Gojo Kyoto, and stronger performance from its serviced residences in China and United Kingdom.
