Veteran singer Cliff Richard says 72 is the new 35

British singer Cliff Richard, 72, will be back in Singapore to play two nights at the Marina Bay Sand's Grand Theatre on Feb 25 and 26. And you can bet that his 1961 hit, The Young Ones, will be part of the set-list.
"It still works for me," says Sir Cliff on the telephone from Sydney, where he was rehearsing for his current tour.
"I know it's about age and being young but, really, youthfulness is how you feel it. I'm the new 35," he adds with a chuckle.
The man behind evergreen songs like Living Doll (1959), Bachelor Boy (1962) and Summer Holiday (1963) is the third best-selling act in Britain, behind only The Beatles and Elvis Presley, and has sold over 250 million records in all.
