Korean actor Lee Hyun Woo is adept at both singing and dancing, but do not expect him to cross over to K-pop anytime soon.

In Singapore to promote idol drama To The Beautiful You, which airs on One (StarHub Channel 823) on Wednesdays and Thursdays, the 19-year-old actor says: "I'm ready for musicals and other genres but it's difficult to put myself up to that K-pop kind of high level of dancing and singing yet."

He says that he wants to develop his acting skills and hopes to take on more grown-up roles. In the past, he has played the young King Sejong in the period drama Dae Wang Sejong (2008), for which he won Best Young Actor at the KBS Drama Awards, as well as a high school student in Master Of Study (2010).

He says: "I want to expand my roles as much as possible now that I'm a grown-up actor. I would like to challenge myself with more action roles."
