Michelin-starred Spanish chefs Albert Adria and Joan Roca will be in Singapore to cook dinners at two restaurants here over the next few months.
Chef Albert Adria of Michelin-starred tapas bar Tickets and cocktail snack bar 41 degrees in Barcelona, which he runs with his brother Ferran, will be cooking at Catalunya at The Fullerton Pavilion on New Year's Eve. The brothers are also behind the famed but now-defunct three-Michelin-starred restaurant elBulli in Roses, Spain.
Chef Adria will join Catalunya's executive chef Alain Devahive and general manager Pol Perello, both of whom used to work with the Adria brothers at elBulli, to prepare a dinner that will include some signature dishes.
Next February, chef Joan Roca, the head chef and the eldest of the three Roca brothers who run three-Michelin-starred El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, will be cooking at Restaurant Andre. The Roca brothers' restaurant was ranked No. 1 on this year's much-watched World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
