Rain holds out for finale as K-pop stars shine in 4-hour SMTown extravaganza

K-pop stars just cannot get enough of Singapore. Midway through Friday night's SMTown Live World Tour III, featuring eight top acts in a four-hour show, boy band Shinee plugged their solo show here on Dec 8.

Yet the rain in the afternoon stopped before the mega-concert started at 7.10pm and the audience stayed dry. It was performers such as boy bands Super Junior who got damp, thanks to fountains and sprinklers on stage.
Although the rain started again, it ceased - as if on cue - for the finale at about 11pm.
