The Miele Guide comes to an end
The Miele Guide, touted as Asia's first independent food guide to restaurants across the continent, will be ending production after five annual editions.
It ranks Asia's top 20 restaurants and features a total of 500 eateries across 17 countries including China, Thailand, India and Singapore.
The guide's publisher, Singapore integrated communications consultancy The Ate Group, says it has plans to create a new guide - "possibly across digital platforms, which will better reflect the ever-evolving culinary scene in Asia". No other details were provided.
The annual guide, which put out its first edition in 2008, is produced in collaboration with German kitchen appliance brand Miele.
