From schoolyard to army, Crowd Lu embraces a new stage in his life

Hair today, gone tomorrow.
Taiwanese singer-songwriter Crowd Lu, 27, will enlist in the army soon for his compulsory military stint. That means goodbye to his signature mushroom mop.
Speaking over the telephone from Taipei, he admits that it will be weird at first. He says: "After all, I've had this hairstyle for almost 10 years. And usually, when I'm bored, I would touch my hair, but soon it will be bare scalp."
Other than that, the schoolyard singer is looking forward to enlistment. He notes: "I'll get to experience another kind of life and that could help with my songwriting. I look forward to coming out with a brand new album or have a brand new Crowd Lu to meet everyone after the stint."
