Rolling Stones tour adds New York concert

NEW YORK (AFP) - The Rolling Stones have added a concert to their 50th anniversary tour with a gig at New York's Barclays Center on Dec 8, the facility announced.

Barclays, a brand new arena that hosts NBA basketball team the Brooklyn Nets, will feature the Stones following their sold-out concerts in London's 02 Arena on Nov 25 and 29.

Tickets for the New York appearance go on sale on Monday, costing between US$113 (S$140) and US$832 on www.ticketmaster.com.

After the Barclays show, the elderly rock legends will head to sold-out concerts at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Dec 13 and 15.
