Portraits of Singapore families by photographer John Clang
Family portraits by acclaimed Singapore photographer John Clang go on show at the National Museum of Singapore from Jan 23.
The exhibition, Being Together: Family & Portraits - Photographing With John Clang, comprises more than 90 photographs by the New York-based artist from five series of works created over 10 years.
The real name of the 40-year-old artist is Ang Choon Leng. In national service, he was known as "C.L. Ang", hence the name Clang.
The titular work features portraits of 40 Singapore families, with members living overseas, photographed using the Internet communication service Skype.
