Pop-punk band The Ataris to play Singapore gig with new drummer
Last October, The Ataris frontman Kristopher Roe threw a fit on stage mid-concert in New Jersey, throwing his guitar at drummer Rob Felicetti before proceeding to continue the show without him.
Shortly after, Felicetti quit the pop-punk band.
But The Ataris look to be soldiering on well without him. Roe, guitarist Thomas Holst and bassist Bryan Nelson, will be performing here for the first time at the Boiler Room on Tuesday. Keeping beat for them is new touring drummer Erik Perkins.
Speaking to Life! in a telephone interview from his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, where the band has been practising daily for their Asia tour, bassist Nelson says he is looking forward to touring with Perkins, and maybe even welcome him on board permanently.
