Nicholas Tse removes mole after skin cancer scare

HONG KONG - Actor Nicholas Tse said he had a mole removed from his head, after it grew in size and doctors said it was skin cancer.
In a talk show that aired on Tuesday night, the 32-year-old said he had discovered the mole when he had to shave his pate for his role in the 2009 period action film Bodyguards And Assassins.
At the time, he did nothing about it. But recently, his manager noticed that the mole had grown, after he cut his hair for another role.
He said his mother, former actress Deborah Li, accompanied him to hospital when he had the mole removed and he needed five stitches on his head. But he did not tell his father, actor Patrick Tse, he said.
