The fourth campus for the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts will be built directly above the forthcoming Bencoolen MRT station, a coup for accessibility.

Mr Choo Thiam Siew, 62, president of Nafa, unveiled the details at a media dialogue held at the Lee Foundation Theatre on Tuesday.

The $30-million building is designed by local firm RSP Architects, Planners & Engineers and will house everything from classrooms and dance studios to offices and recreational spaces on its 12 floors. It is slated for completion in 2017 or 2018.

The school turns 75 this year and the occasion will be marked with a gala concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall on April 12.
