The last three months of this year will see a large crop of more than 20 international acts touring Singapore, with a few veteran bands from the 1970s and 1980s - such as iconic American rockers Chicago - coming our way.

Aside from current mainstream pop and indie artists such as Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin, K-pop girl group 2NE1 and teen-pop trio the Jonas Brothers, veteran acts heading here to perform include soul and R&B group The Jacksons (formerly The Jackson 5), Australian duo Air Supply and rock musician Sting.

With the concert season approaching, many older music fans who grew up listening to the soft-rock ballads of Chicago such as If You Leave Me Now or the emotional love anthems of Air Supply like All Out Of Love, will get another chance to watch idols from their teenage days in concert.

Concert promoters tell Life! that strong demand from an older group of music fans is driving the trend of bands from the 1970s and 1980s making a stop here to perform.
