Male artists lead for Grammy nominees

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (REUTERS) - Male artists led the nominations announced on Wednesday for the 2013 Grammys, as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Mumford & Sons, fun., and Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys landed six nods each for music's biggest awards night.
After British singer Adele dominated this year's awards with her juggernaut album 21, male artists took the lead in categories such as Album of the Year.
Competing in that category were blues rockers The Black Keys, indie-pop band fun., British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons, R&B singer Frank Ocean and Jack White of the White Stripes.
Auerbach, 33, received five nominations as a member of the Keys and is also up for producer of the year.
