(REUTERS) - Images of magician David Blaine, who stood on a 20-foot-high (6.1m) platform for 72 hours on Friday without food amid an artificial lighting storm crackling between low-current, million-volt Tesla coils.
Blaine was dressed in a 20-pound (9.1kg) chain-mail suit with purplish arcs of lightning shooting out of his hands and the top of his head.
Also featured are archive images of the magician’s past endurance stunts, which includes sitting in a box suspended above the River Thames in London for 44 days with only water, and standing unharnessed on a 100-foot-high (30.5m) pillar in New York City for 35
hours.
