For a singer who has had a top-selling album and been nominated at the prestigious Golden Melody Awards in 2008 for Best Female Singer, Joi Chua sure has a low profile.

Certainly, she is not as well known as the likes of her Singapore compatriots, Stefanie Sun and Tanya Chua.

But she is not frustrated by her situation, nor does she sound envious of the others' success.

Chua, 34, says: "I realised that, eventually, it's what you want. I've been able to stay in this line for so long because I always see a lot of possibilities and I truly enjoy music."
