Local films promoted to foreign buyers at Sneak Peeks showcase

The idea behind Thursday's Sneak Peeks event was to promote local films to potential international buyers.

But, while local film-makers welcomed its organisation for the first time by the Media Development Authority (MDA), they said there was room for improvement.

The showcase took place on the afternoon of Dec 6 at the Singapore pavilion of the Asia TV Forum & Market/ScreenSingapore television and film event, held at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center.

The trailers of nine upcoming local films were screened, and some film-makers and actors introduced their works.
