Local film-maker's fascination with drainage system leads to unexpected discoveries

National sailor-turned-artist Charles Lim is the most nominated film-maker at the 4th Singapore Short Film Awards this year.
For his short film All The Lines Flow Out, which explores the drainage system in Singapore, he has received five nominations, including those in the Best Director and Best Fiction categories.
Of the nominations, he says with a laugh: "What is making me very happy about being nominated is that I now feel very connected to the rest of the local film community."
All The Lines Flow Out took him two years to film.
