Justin Bieber stopped for traffic offence, again
LOS ANGELES, California (AFP) - Justin Bieber was stopped for running a stop sign and driving without a licence on Wednesday, in the Canadian teen sensation's latest run-in with traffic police, a spokesman said.
The 19-year-old was pulled over while driving his white Ferrari at 4.30am near his home in Calabasas, north-west of Los Angeles, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore.
"I don't know how many times he's been stopped out there driving, but he has a history," Mr Whitmore said, referring to Bieber's growing list of brushes with the law.
In June, Los Angeles police investigated an incident in which a car driven by Bieber hit a paparazzo, but not to press charges.
