Hola to tapas: ST Life! discovers 5 new restaurants

Spanish tapas bars have been opening all over town in the last few months.

They are serving everything from Jamon Iberico de Bellota or ham from black-hooved Iberian pigs that eat acorns and tortilla de patatas - the classic Spanish egg tortilla with potatoes and onions, to tasty seafood paella and even pintxos, which are a type of Spanish snack often served on slices of bread.

No fewer that five new tapas bars have opened in the last three months, with three opening in the last month alone.

New ones include Bomba in Martin Road, Kaixo in Tanjong Pagar, Los Primos in Club Street, District 10 Bar Tapas Restaurant at The Star Vista in Buona Vista, and Binomio in Craig Road, which is both a tapas bar and fine-dining restaurant.
