By end January next year, French fine dining restaurant Le Saint Julien will close after 10 years at the Fullerton Waterboat House.

This comes after chef-owner Julien Bompard and his wife Edith Lai closed their gourmet cheese shop La Fromagerie at Chip Bee Gardens in August, to focus their gourmet food business online.

After Le Saint Julien closes, the couple will take time off to work on a new dining concept at another location.

Other casualties in the competitive food and beverage scene here include Seah Street Deli at Raffles Hotel, Graze at Martin No. 38 condominium, and Indonesian restaurant Rumah Rasa at Bay Hotel.
