Get a taste of street food from around the world - from Shantou beef balls from China, to tacos from Mexico, to Nasi Kandar (rice served with various curries) from Malaysia - at a 10-day food festival here.
The inaugural World Street Food Congress, an event dedicated to street food and culture, will be held from May 31 to June 9 at the F1 Pit Building and Paddock.
It is organised by food consultancy and street food guide publisher Makansutra and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
Aside from myriad foods from at least 10 countries, the $4 million event will also include a two-day dialogue session to discuss topics that include the continuity and sustainability of street food culture.
