First fashion show staged at OCBC Skyway at Gardens By The Bay

The 128m long OCBC Skyway at Gardens By The Bay was transformed into a catwalk this morning, as models paraded clothes for close to two hours at the J Spring Fashion show 2014.
It was the first time a fashion show had been staged there.
However, the more than 100 guests who were invited to the event watched it from the ground as there was no space for seats on the Skyway. As the runway was 22m above ground, show-goers mainly watched the show on a television screen that had been set up in front of them.
Less than halfway through the show, around 50 guests left, citing the poor view and sweltering heat.
