Film-maker Boo Junfeng to shoot second feature, a psychological drama set in a prison

Singapore film-maker Boo Junfeng, 30, will begin shooting his second feature, Apprentice, this September.
Production on the much-anticipated film comes after it won funding from agencies in Europe and Asia.
Apprentice is described as a psychological drama. In it, Aiman, a young correctional officer, befriends older colleague Koon, an executioner at the prison, and Aiman must grapple with the possibility that he may have to take over the older man's job.
The ambitious multi-country co-production spans three continents and features locations in both Singapore and Sydney, Australia.
