Fans of K-pop band SHINee spend hundreds of dollars on cosmetics for concert tickets
More than 1,000 fans queued outside the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on Tuesday afternoon to see boyband SHINee and Sulli from girl group f(x).
The South Korean pop stars were at an event organised by Korean cosmetics brand Etude House, the Etude House Pink Play Party. The doors opened at 5pm, and the concert was due to start at 7pm.
Some fans, like Tessa Chloe Goh, 50, who works in human resources, had started queueing since 8.30am in the morning to ensure that they will be able to get a good view of SHINee at the event, who are brand ambassadors for Etude House.
"There were actually more than 50 people ahead of us even when we arrived that early," said Ms Goh.
