Fall in love with the quiff

The classic combed-back quiff hairdo is making a comeback but not everyone can carry it off

Watch out, the "quiff" is back.

The classic combed- back hairdo - or the "currypok" in local lingo - sported by stars such as Elvis Presley and John Travolta has been spotted on young men here.

These days, quiff- wearers are taking the cue from celebrities such as football star David Beckham and singer Bruno Mars.

Civil servant Firdaus Isa, 28, has been getting a side-parted, comb-over quiff for the past year at U-One Hairdressing & Beauty Salon in Far East Plaza. He says: "I have always been a fan of old-school stuff, from cameras to Presley's music. The haircut is clean and classic."
