If you have revelled in the art, music and food festivals that have been held recently, keep the momentum going by signing up for an art class for adults.

Adult art classes are growing in popularity, with more than 10 art schools and studios, as well as the many People's Association community centres offering art classes in a multitude of mediums, from Chinese ink painting to ceramics and jewellery making.

The courses range in price from $25 to $120 for a single class to $100 to $2,300 for multiple session classes and vary in size, from one-on-one classes to those with over 20 students.

These include places like Goodman Ceramic Studio which offers about 10 ceramic arts programmes, such as basic hand-building ($190 for five sessions), large plate making ($280 for three sessions), and basic throwing ($550 for 10 sessions).
