Find out who will win Best Beng and Biggest Lungs at the inaugural Durian Awards next Friday.

The tongue-in-cheek awards and variety show, with categories like Bao Ga Liao Award for the best all-round performer and Best Boyband, will celebrate the variety of local talent which have performed in the Esplanade theatres over the past decade.

The winners of each category will be selected by the show's director Jeremiah Choy, scriptwriter Jonathan Lim and Esplanade Producers. They will receive a "very nice" home-made durian trophy, according to Mr Choy.

Hosted by entertainer Najip Ali, the awards will feature performances by Selena Tan and the T'ang Quartet and appearances by Kumar and Pat Mok.
