David Beckham runs in only his underwear for new H&M ad campaign

British footballer David Beckham has launched his third bodywear collection for Swedish retailer H&M with a TV commercial that is generating heat worldwide.
Directed by Madonna's ex-husband Guy Ritchie, the light-hearted ad lasting 1min 40 secs features the 37-year-old running through Beverly Hills dressed only in his boxer briefs and bedroom slippers, as well as mimicking James Bond actor Daniel Craig's infamous swimming trunk scene in Casino Royale.
"We wanted to make something different from the usual bodywear commercial and have a bit of fun with it," Beckham tells The Straits Times Urban in an exclusive e-mail interview.
Two collections of undergarments and loungewear for men under the David Beckham Bodywear Collection for H&M line were released last year.
