Daniel Craig: People find it difficult not to see me as Bond now
Off-screen, James Bond actor Daniel Craig is careful to maintain Agent 007's gravitas, saying he can no longer get drunk or do anything else unseemly in public.
At a press event for the new Bond film, Skyfall, he even looks like he has raided the spy's closet, arriving at New York's Crosby Street hotel wearing fitted black trousers and a crisp white shirt, a dark tie tucked stylishly under a grey pullover.
But the Englishman may feel a bit ambivalent about how closely he associated with the character. When Life! asks if he is worried the role might overshadow the rest of his career, he says: "Yeah, but I mean, it's what you make of it."
"It's working out for me at the moment so I'll keep at it and there'll be other stuff to do," adds the star of Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum Of Solace (2008), who has reportedly signed on to do two more instalments after his third Bond film, Skyfall, which opens here on Thursday.
