A crop of young bakers make their mark
They are young. They are gusty. And they are first-time entrepreneurs.
SundayLife! spoke to a new breed of baker-owners of six cake shops, all of whom are in their 20s.
Their shops, located in the heartland and in the Central Business District, opened in the last 10 months and offer everything from dainty cupcakes with homemade frosting to fine French confections and customised 3D cakes.
