Christoph Waltz, Brave, Life Of Pi among early winners at the Oscars

Christoph Waltz won his second Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as a vigilante in Django Unchained.
His first came in 2010 for Inglourious Basterds.
The visually stunning Life Of Pi, directed by Lee Ang, won the Academy Awards for cinematography and visual effects.
Brave was named Best Animated Feature. It is the seventh Oscar win in the category from Pixar Animation Studios.
