The Last Tycoon swaggered into Singapore on Tuesday for its world premiere. The premiere is in conjunction with film event ScreenSingapore, which is being held together with Asia TV Forum & Market from Dec 4 to 7 at Marina Bay Sands.
Among those attending the press conference at Marina Bay Sands were Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun Fat, actress Yolanda Yuan, producer Andrew Lau and director Wong Jing.
In the period drama set in Shanghai, Chow and actor Huang Xiaoming share the role of Cheng Daqi, a man who rises through the ranks of the criminal underworld. Cheng's love interest is played by Yuan.
Huang was supposed to be at the event as well but recently fell and injured himself on the set of The Bride With White Hair.
