After winning $1 million in a Changi Airport contest last Sunday, Mr Peh Hock Peng, 45, celebrated by having a dinner of fish porridge at a hawker stall with his wife and two sons.

The business development director had worked up an appetite after knocking out four other contestants in four rounds of an about an hour-long game show to clinch the $1 million prize in the airport's Be A Changi Millionaire draw.

Mr Peh's wife, Mrs Sonia Peh, 38, works in health care. His two sons are nine and 12 years old.

Mr Peh says: "Over dinner, my older son kept asking me if I could get him a Top Gear (a TV car show) DVD. I told him I will look into it.
