Asia's 50 Best Restaurants comes to town on Monday

The inaugural awards ceremony to celebrate the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants is set to be a gathering of culinary greats from the region on Monday.
The event, a spin-off from The World's 50 Best Restaurants, will be held at Marina Bay Sands.
Top chefs from the region, including Japanese chef Seiji Yamamoto from Nihonryori Ryugin in Tokyo; Australia-born David Thompson, who has restaurants in Bangkok and London; and Calcutta-born Gaggan Anand, who runs Gaggan in Bangkok, will be among the chefs at the event.
Almost 100 members of the international media will also be there.
