Jack Neo's latest film Ah Boys To Men has become the highest-grossing Singapore film of all time.

By the end of Monday, it has earned $6.03 million, beating the 14-year-old box office record previously held by Money No Enough (1998), which took in $6.02 million.

Director Neo, 56, tells Life! over the telephone cheerily: "I don't really know what to say, except that I'm just very, very happy. Though I had a good feeling that the movie will do pretty good at the box office, I never expected that it would be this good."

Ah Boys To Men opened in cinemas here on Nov 8, which is a little more than five weeks ago.
