Ah Boys To Men 2 marches to the top of the box office over Chinese New Year

There is no stopping the men in green at the box office.
Ah Boys To Men 2 continues the winning streak of its predecessor by coming in at No. 1 at the local box office over the lucrative Chinese New Year break. Writer-director Jack Neo's take on national service earned $2.72 million from Feb 7 to 12.
Thus far, it has grossed $6.12 million, just behind the first instalment's record haul of $6.2 million, which earned it the title of Singapore's top-grossing home-grown movie.
With Ah Boys To Men 2, Neo went one better than in last year's Chinese New Year box-office battle, when his youth drama, We Not Naughty, came in second to the adventure flick Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
