After F1, Rihanna performs to one of the biggest concert crowds in recent years
R&B singer Rihanna capped off the Singapore Grand Prix night with an energetic 90-minute set at the F1's Padang Stage.
Performing to a crowd of 65,000 - one of the largest concert crowds in recent history - the singer had the mixed-age audience wrapped around her fingers.
She belted out scores of hits from her seven-album discography, from the euphoric dance raves of We Found Love and Where Have You Been to the catchy strut of Umbrella and Rude Boy.
Sporting smoky eyes and wearing a shapeless, pop art-inspired dress, the 25-year-old was a cool cat on stage, looking aloof but breaking out into agile dance moves backed by her dancers and live band.
Soon after the last cars cleared the racetrack, she took to the Padang Stage for some high-octane action of her own.
The 25-year-old from Barbados kicked off her set with the bass- and synth-heavy Phresh Out the Runway from her latest and seventh album Unapologetic, strutting across the massive stage.
Sporting a stylish mullet cum ponytail, the singer brought a party atmosphere to the packed Padang crowd, equally comprising locals and foreigners.
In her first show here since 2008, she was backed by a posse of dancers and a live band.
