Accident will not deter Jolin Tsai from pursuing pole dancing

Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai loves pole dancing so much that she will continue to do it even after a recent fall from a pole.

She was in the midst of rehearsing a pole-dance act for the concert in Taiwan last month when she fell headfirst from one metre.

In Singapore last Friday to judge a dance contest, she said she was still recovering from the accident.

Stretching her fingers on her left hand to demonstrate how she was still affected, she said in Mandarin: "I twisted my middle finger and haven't fully recovered, so my left hand, which I was using to hold the pole, still hurts if I exert it. It's a slow recovery."
