India says Pakistani soldiers kill 5 Indian troops
SRINAGAR, India (AP) - The Indian army says five of its soldiers were killed when Pakistani troops fired at a post near the cease-fire line in the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir.
The incident could threaten recent overtures for peace talks to resume between the nuclear-armed rivals.
The military called Tuesday's attack a "gross violation" of a 2003 cease-fire in Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
