China Changeover: A perspective from ST's Ching Cheong

The five-yearly party congress meeting is the most important political event on the Chinese Communist Party calendar.
This year’s congress, which will begin on Nov 8, will see some 2,270 delegates choosing a new 350-strong Central Committee, which will be involved in making party policy decisions for the next five years.
