GEORGE TOWN (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - National shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei, who received RM100,000 (S$39,905) on Tuesday from the Penang Water Supply Board for his silver medal feat at the London Olympics, says he plans to build a badminton stadium.

"I am planning to have a badminton stadium built to develop the country's young talents," he told reporters after receiving the cheque at Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's office here.

Lee said the money would be channelled towards his foundation, which is committed to helping society.
