Danson Cheong

Deputy Head, Audience Lab (New Audience)

Danson is deputy head of The Straits Times’ Audience Lab, where he drives ST’s engagement with new audiences and oversees its podcasts. When he was still in the field, he reported from various countries in South-east Asia and spent five years in Beijing (2018 to 2023) as a foreign correspondent. He has won national and regional awards for his work.
