Thousands of supporters, including many in tears, paid their respects to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa at her All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party office in Mumbai yesterday.

The 68-year-old, described by her party as the Iron Lady of India, died on Monday night after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on Sunday following a long period of ill health.
