MFA: Singapore strongly condemns Pakistan school attack

A spokesman for Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the Republic "strongly condemns" the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan on Tuesday.

"Singapore strongly condemns the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan. This is a heinous crime. We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of so many innocent lives and the large number of people injured. We express our deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the people of Pakistan," the ministry spokesman said.

"This barbaric attack is a stark reminder of the threat we all face from terrorism, and the need for continued vigilance and determination in countering the threat."
