ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (Reuters) - Hundreds of people take to the streets to demonstrate against the arrival of India's interior minister.

Rivalry between the two nations has escalated following a surge of violence in the disputed Kashmir region. The protest against Rajnath Singh was led by a Kashmiri militant commander.

Mr Singh is attending a regional gathering in Pakistan but will not hold bilateral talks. It is the first time in months that a high-level Indian delegation is visiting Pakistan.
