Giving couples a shot at wedded bliss

An Indian groom taking a selfie photo during a mass marriage ceremony in Bhopal, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday. At least 27 couples tied the knot in the ceremony, which was organised under the auspices of the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna welfare scheme. The programme provides financial assistance for wedding costs and household items. Some communities in India arrange mass marriages for couples who are less well-off.
