Malaysia may see new electoral maps

Today is the last day of the Malaysian Election Commission's month-long public review of its proposed changes to electoral boundaries.

The Election Commission is expected to submit its redrawing proposals to Prime Minister Najib Razak before they are presented to Parliament.


River Hongbao 2018 begins

The River Hongbao 2018 will open today at The Float @ Marina Bay and run until Feb 24. The multi-sensorial extravaganza is packed with interactive fun, fireworks and festive spectacles to usher in the Year of the Dog. This year, it will feature highly acclaimed performances from the Anhui Chuzhou Performing Arts Group and Taiwan University of Sport NTUS Dance Troupe.


MTI unveils economic survey results

This morning, the Ministry of Trade and Industry will release the results of the Economic Survey of Singapore for last year. The survey will include the overall performance of the economy, sectoral performance, sources of growth, inflation, employment and productivity during the fourth quarter and whole of last year.
